On 06/23/2003 (the death day of Mirage) Fuzzy's puppies were born. The sad and hopefully happy ending story, the weight table and the first photos ......

Fuzzy keeps us on tenterhooks ...............! She still eats happily, barks at the neighbour's dog and still does not settle down. But she behaves like a Diva and explains any other dog that soon she ist going to have puppies, and that it would be better when all of them would get out of her way - and that's what the dogs do with pleasure ...!
Now let's wait till time has come .............!

Misery's and Xitus' babies are already one week old. Of course there are new photos and entries in the weight table.

There are also sad news: Urmel will have no puppies - but we are going to try it again next time! I thank all the puppy interests that they absolutely wanted to have a baby from Urmel and Armagedon, for their trust and I am pleased that they all want to wait for the next season of Urmel!

MISERY'S BABIES ARE BORN !!!!!

Last night at 0:20 a.m. the first puppy was born (yeah, not on Friday 13th!). At 5:07 a.m. the 6th and last puppy was born. Now we have 3 boys and 3 girls.
Misery and the small ones are doing fine.

As Misery was very "fat" we thought that she would at least have 20 pups. Now we know that lots of that was fed (as e.g. in Czech). Here you can see the first photos of the proud mom and the little dwarfs:

Xitus has turned to be Dad again!!!

Mashari SHARI Guinan Noire El Amahar has whelped 7 puppies, 3 boys and 4 girls.

HURRAY, our webmaster is back again! Therefore, there are numerous news from us:

On May 23, 2003, Gerda went on vacation and Uli, Misery and myself headed off to Czech Republic to a show. Of course we first went to our Sabina! There we were welcomed warmly. Maminka had once again prepared a fabulous meal and Daddy Paul had cooled wine and champagne. Needless to say that we had a wonderful evening. Maminka unfortunately had forgotten to close the kitchen door from time to time and while we were celebrating happily in the yard ..... Misery sneaked into the kitchen ............ some cotelettes and a whole cheese cake, noodles and some more things ended in Misery's belly!!! It's really fun to stand in the yard in your pyjamas at 3 or 4 a.m. because Misery needed to empty her bowles ................!

After a more or less sleepless night for me we went off to the show on the next day (with Misery having 5 kilograms more). We had fabulous weather and it was a great show with uncountable beautiful shops. When I had to get into the ring with Misery, my heart sank! 5 bitches were entered - and all of them sooooooooo beautifully slim! Misery looked like a battleship!!! Though, the judge liked her - just when running she did not look that elegant .... no wonder, with the babies in her belly and so much overfed. Still we went Exc. 4 with our thick Mom !!! and were mighty proud.

Then we had to head off for our trip back home. Happy and funny we left to Prague. But somehow Uli and I had missed a street sign (although we both swear that there was non). Anyway, we lost the completely! No problem - Uli can read maps!!! So I continued driving with her instruction, as not so far away another turning to the border should come ..........! It's not that important that this turning came after about 160 kilometers and that we turned back and about several times! Anyway, Uli and I went into fits of laughter so that our bellies were hurting. Still it was a wonderful weekend and we finally - even though 3 hours later than planned - came back home. One week later there was THE show of the year!!! Unfortunately our Jingle did not feel too good and so I decided to not go to the World Dog Show and preferred to stay at home with our "Queen Mum".
Falko had to go there alone as some of our dogs were entered there.

A short message from the webmaster once in a while: I am on tour through Germany and Switzerland from May 22 to June 1 - naturally in MATTER BRIARDS! I'm visiting offspring from here and look forward to a comfortable week away from the daily normal amazement and also off from the PC.

News will be found here again earliest on June 2.

I wish all the frequent visitors of this site as well as their dogs a nice weekend and a successful last week of May! Thanks to Gaby and Falko for the good wishes for the tour. Of course I'll not forget to have fingers crossed during my holiday for Gaby and Falko (as well as for those who also take part) for the upcoming show on the weekend and especially for the World Dog Show next week. I need not tell you that I expect the results via SMS during my holiday.

WE ARE GOING TO HAVE BABIES !!!

Actually we only wanted to go with Misery, but then I thought let's also take Fuzzy with us. First was Misery. We have taken a sweet picture from the "puppies".

This is how a "puppy" looks like with about 30 days.

Then - only for fun - we have also done ultrasounds with Fuzzy. And ................. we have also seen here many small babies!!! They are still so small that taking a picture was impossible - but next week this will be made up.

For today this means for us: CELEBRATING !!!

This was a great weekend for our Xitus:

On Friday Susanne called as she was at the ultra sounds with Mashari SHARI Guinan Noire El Amahar: Shari will have puppies!!!
We wish Shari all the best for the continuing pregnancy and wait impatiently what is going to happen. Maybe this time there will be a grey baby?

Then, on Saturday, we went to Karin and Albin gefahren. Finally Xitus - and we as well of course - wanted to see the babies of "our" Xenja de l'avenue D'Artagnon. In addition I am kind of related twice to the small ones . The dwarfs are sooooooooo sweet and beautiful! Once again I am very proud to have a stud like Xitus, who passes on so wonderfully. This was a very exciting week: last Saturday a week ago we were at the CACIB in Erfurt and last Sunday at the CACIB in Nuremburg. You can find the real good success results here ..........

Our successful Nuremberg Team: f.l.t.r.
CH. Ialor, X-Pack (Six), Yules Verne (Cyrano), Nicky,
Al Capone (Carlos), Xanadu (Fritzi), Armagedon, Ebenezer Scrooge und
Griffindor. (7 males peacefully and friendly side at side!)

Well, an now the mega-news:

Our Armagedon has mated our Urmel ..................

Actually Urmel should have come into season in two months. But here one girl after the other came into season and therefore "Urmel" wanted to join them!!! Now we really had to think for quite a while ..................:
If we left out this heat "Urmel" would probably be too old next time. So we called the family clan and discussed. We all together came to an agreement: We will make it!!!
Sabina, our previous au-pair is going to come for a visit and will help. Besides we have Vera and Filip and of course also Uli and Eva.
With so many helping hands the future puppy will for sure have a great time. Then we had to think about the stud ......... but not too long. The last time we had decided for "Armagedon" entschieden and with the great puppies with "Xarah" it was clear that also "Urmel" would be bred to "Armagedon" sein. Well, now we need finger crossing for sweet and great puppies from "Urmel".

You all are something very special for us, you have been the first great-grandkids from "Mirage", which have been born in our house. Although "Miri" had already been very, very sick when you were born he still recognized it. And somehow he gave me a signal to keep one of you gnomes. He already knew whom: "Fuzzys Lumière". From beginning on she was a very dominant and cheeky girl, and she still keeps us on the trot. Often, when I look into the eyes of "Lumi", I think "Mirage" is looking at me. In her as well in you he lives on!

The mega Easter surprise: Our "Fuzzy" (Yustine) has been bred!

We have really made it exciting. Who will be the stud breeding our "Fuzzy"? Now we reveal the secret:
That's him: Aermel "Pankow" from the north turned to be Fuzzy's "number one man".
It really was like this: he came, saw and won. "Fuzzy" was thrilled. No wonder, as "Pankow" is really an incredible, friendly and loving boy.
While breeding the camera was unfortunately in the car, but the happy, loving couple was snuggling "afterwards" for a long time, as you can see here.

Now also here it needs finger crossing so that there are many sweet, tawny puppies. A big thank you to Katja and Frank who stayed with us over night, so that I did not have to drive to Hamburg (the house is full of guests).

Misery has been breed on Apr. 13/14/15 and 16, 2003, to "Xitus" .....

..... and here is the proof ..........

Now it calls for finger crossing (tightly - until ultrasound)!

With Fuzzy it will last some more days. Therefore, to everyone who is waiting for a furry one from Fuzzy: Just a bit of patience ..........! I assume that there will be more news in the next couple of days.

There are lots of news again:

On Apr. 7, 2003, our "Xitus" turned to be Daddy again, this time in Sweden. The very beautiful Mirage granddaughter "Ronja" whelped 1 boy and 5 girls - all of them of course black, nothing else was expected! (Marianne had wished to have many girls .......... Hello Marianne! Isn't Xitus great .......... ?)

And on Apr. 9, 2003, newly-wed Dad has also had visit again, this time a beautiful grey bitch: Mashari "Shari" Guinan Noire El Amahar. Susan just wanted to come over to check how far "Shari" is .......... The result is here ...

Today "Shari" is coming again and "Xitus" looks forward happily!

Birth of both of you was a real "Malheur". Nobody except me had hope that you would survive birth. When finally you had been there healthy and happy, this was one of the best days in my life. Today our T-litter celebrates the 6th birthday.

Of course best regards also from Mom "Malheur" (who celebrates her 8th birthday in the next days) and from Grandma "Jingle" (14 years and 4 months old).

APRIL ........... APRIL .......... APRIL

Wow, that was fun to send some in April!
I received the hottest tips. For example:
- to bathe him with 60° in grandma's washing machine, but without fabric softener;
- or clip him, then the coat would again grow tawny;
- Tip from Bruno: violet color over that and then he would be black and finally have the right color!!!
- cleaning of the eye glasses and sleep over it etc.
It was really funny. One even colored Armagedon to yellow, another one to blue (this also looked good)!
Anyway, some of my homepage visitors really thought this was true .......... !!! Hard as rock I have to tell these people: It was an April joke!!!

But the very best one was Norbert (he has Gary Ewing from me): I sent the mail out shortly before midnight. Norbert was still sitting at the computer and read it. At 0:37 a.m. my phone rang and Norbert was there: completely shattered since he had only seen the mail but had not been in the homepage yet.
He was already in the starting holes to get to his car and come over to us for any help. (Lots of thanks, dear Norbert, such puppy buyers are worth gold!)
But when I asked if he knew which date we had, we both roared with laughter.

This April joke - as I assume - was lots of fun ...... well, that's what April 1st is for.

One has heard about it, one has read about it and more or less lots of people talk about it ..... ! Well ..... I thought I'll also try it ...... dying. But then the dog looked so strange in the bath tube and I turned to panic. I rinsed him .....

You can see the result here! Therefore I call out for you with a beg: HELP ME! How can I get this color out of Armagedon ??? Each of you who is hair stylist PLEASE send me a mail of phone me!!! Armagedon can't run around this way! How can I turn back to his real color??? 200 Euro reward.
